FREDDIE TERRY
BIO
Elder Freddie Terry, Sr. is the Pastor of God’s All Nations Pentecostal Church in Chicago, Illinois and the Overseer of the God’s All Nations Pentecostal Churches, Incorporated. He and his wife, Minister Juanse Terry, are servants of Jesus Christ and have worked together in the ministry for over 40 years.
In 1974, Pastor Freddie Terry accepted Jesus Christ as his Savior and joined God’s All Nations Pentecostal Church under the leadership of Pastor Moses and Co-Pastor Marvella Anderson. Pastor Terry continued to grow spiritually.
In 1980, after noticing Pastor Terry’s love for God, for the people of God and for the church, Pastor Moses Anderson ordained him a deacon, although he had been doing the work of a deacon for five years prior. He served as deacon faithfully and later became chairman of the Deacon Board. As deacon, Pastor Terry oversaw multiple projects in the church, including remodeling the sanctuary, building a baptism pool, installing air conditioning and the constant maintenance of the church structure, including the roof.
Pastor Terry worked very closely with Bishop Moses Anderson, until Bishop Anderson’s death in 1995. In June 2000, Pastor Terry acknowledged his call to the ministry. In September 2001, he was ordained as a minister of the gospel. To more accurately reflect his role, Overseer Marvella Anderson appointed Elder Freddie Terry as the Assistant Pastor in September 2005.
After seeking the Lord through much prayer and fasting, the Spirit of God spoke to Overseer Anderson to appoint Elder Freddie Terry as Pastor of God’s All Nations Pentecostal Church in Holy Convocation 2007. From September 2007, he served as Pastor under the guidance of Overseer Marvella Anderson until her death in May 2014. September 2016, Pastor Terry was installed as Overseer of the God’s All Nations Pentecostal Churches, Incorporated.
In June 2015, Pastor Freddie Terry earned his Bachelor’s Degree in Theology from the North Carolina School of Theology. In June 2016, Pastor Terry received his Master’s of Divinity from the same institution and was given the Award of Excellence of his graduating class.
Pastor Freddie Terry, Sr. and his wife, Minister Juanse Terry, have four children: Freddie Terry, Jr. (Raven), Joel Terry (Andrina), Alexica Shelton (Ryan) and Christopher Terry (Lakisha) – and three grandchildren; Sania Shelton, Ariell Terry and Armani Terry.
